My journey into the heart of God!

I had been practicing religious Christianity for nearly 50 years. Five years ago, I experienced a crisis of faith in my religious experience . I questioned my beliefs, practices, and their congruence to my life.

I experienced emptiness in my soul, which made me feel alone and hungry for more of God.

Having attended more than a dozen Christian conferences and leadership events, I realized that this longing within me remained unfulfilled even after these events.

I identified three core existential conditions that had been haunting my life:
• Melancholia – deep sadness that often manifested as outbursts of anger, resentment, and depressive moments.
• Discontentment – constant restlessness, busyness, and a relentless pursuit of achievement-oriented endeavors that left me joyless.
• Fragmentation – a heart tainted by mixed motives that desired respect, accomplishments, and position, among other things, left me tired and absent in my significant relationships.

Thus, I embarked on a mentoring journey with a few leaders within a community called REWIRE to seek a resolution for my human condition. This community helped me to both discover and heal my inner wounds.

I took responsibility for practicing stillness in solitude and silence, engaging in deeper life experiences that brought newfound freedom to my life.

The KENOSIS Journey was born during these moments of my unfolding healing process. As a result, I now enjoy a new sense of joy and freedom that I desire to share with others.

KENOSIS – This original Greek word from Philippians 2:6-7 means to “empty oneself” or “to make oneself of no reputation”. However, in this journey, we use this word to mean ‘letting go’ of life’s inordinate or excessive attachments.
